Cynthia McCormack, wife of Edwin was born 02 Apr 1854, Plattin Township, Jefferson Co., MO and died 04 Mar 1923. Her parents were Mitchell McCormack and Harriett J. Bellville. She is buried in the James McCormack Cemetery Jeff. Co., MO.

Mrs. Dr. EVANS, of Farmington, is visiting her father, Mr. Mitchell McCORMACK.

 

Cynthia’s death was noted in the minutes of the McCormack McMullin family reunion, dated Sept. 1, 1923.

"Mrs. Cynthia E. Perkins nee McCormack was born April 2, 1854 at Plattin, and departed this life March 4, 1923 at her home near Plattin station, aged 68 years 11 months and 2 days. She was married February 21, 1872 to Dr. E. E. Evans, who departed this life March 12, 1881. To this union four sons were born; Thomas E., Allyne, Mac H. and Harry E., two of whom survive her, Thomas E. of Plattin and Harry E. of Festus. She was again married to H. R. Perkins, who departed this life June 17, 1921. To this union were born two sons, William P. and Rudy M., both of which preceded her to the grave. Mrs. Perkins was a devoted member of the Methodist church from her girlhood. She had lived most of her life near Plattin, so was well known. She was buried in the McCormack cemetery, March 6, 1923."

 

(Note…..Her four sons with Edwin were named Tolman, (not Thomas) Allyne, Mac & Harry)
