F. Koerner, better known as the sugar doctor, who has been confined to his room for nearly a year, was transferred from his bachelor home, near High Ridge, to the county farm, two weeks ago, where he is expected to die from dropsy.
Dr. Koerner, familiarly known as “the sugar doctor” died at the poor farm last Wednesday. He claimed to be over eighty years of age.
