R. H. Dickman Dies; De
Soto Dentist Was 68
Dr. R. H. Dickman,
68, well known practicing dentist of DeSoto for the last 42 years, died
unexpectedly Monday night, Sept 12 at Deaconess hospital,
where he was taken Sunday evening, after becoming suddenly ill at his home at 1300
Rock Road, DeSoto. The deceased was born April 20, 1898, in Cape
Girardeau county, Mo.,
son of the late August and Cora (sachse) Dickman. He was a
member of AF and AM lodge 119, and Copestone lodge 33, RAM,
both of DeSoto. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alberta (Tibbits)
Dickman, one son, Charles Dickman,
Ballwin, Mo., three daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Becky) Steffens,
and Mrs. Joe (Tokey) Johnson, both of Overland, and
Mrs. George (Mary) Lewis Jr., of Florissant, five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs.
Lewis (Mildred ) Roop, De Soto; and two brothers, Alvin and E. T. Dickman, both of Jackson, Mo. Funeral services will be
conducted by Rev. L.L. Johnston of Moberly, Mo.
at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 15 in
the chapel of Mothershead funeral home, De
Soto. Interment
will be in Woodlawn cemetery, DeSoto.
